Our English as a Second Language (ESL) ministry is a family-focused program that provides free classes for adults, a nursery for small children and the Children’s Activity Program (CAP) for school-aged children. Adult classes range from beginner to advanced, and students are tested to find the level best suited to their needs. Children in the CAP participate in a wide variety of activities including crafts and games.

The students in our ESL program come from a variety of backgrounds and religions.

In addition to our regular classes, we end each semester with a party! We ask the students to bring dishes from their home countries, and members of our congregation bring dishes as well. This is a wonderful way for us to get to know our students on a more personal level, allows them to practice speaking what they’re learning, and we get to experience different foods and customs.
